As long as the links on the Starship web site still remain the same, then I
can safely say that I have updated the web sites for my two sectors, the
Granth and Cruanatan sectors.
The front page for both now advertises my upcoming adventures. Here very soon
I will have additional pages for both sites with info on those adventures. I
will also have pages up for starships and past adventure fun.
Sadly, the first adventure of the Granth sector claimed several starships, not
just mine but of another player. I had forgotten this until I was reviewing
the adventure e-mails yesterday. I will have more info on this later. For now,
I am just refreshing things and getting things prepped for some new fun.

Hi Avery!
Sorry for the delayed reponse - sometimes I think my communication signals
through the depths of space are being done in real time... i.e., it takes a
long time!
Anyhoo, I am still here and my interest in Starship has not gone away. Though,
as has become normal, real life continues to distract. This coming month or so
promises to be particularly busy for me.
That said, Im not a totally lost cause for this game, and would love to see it
regain life. If there is a particular link you need me to add to or revise on
the Starship website, let me know.
Richard also said he is willing to continue to maintain the Ship Registry
portion of the site, if you need any changes there.
Cheers!

Okay, so here I am cooking up not one, but two new adventures for the Cruan'atan
sector, with a third in the cooker for Granth sector.
I have just finished, yes finished, a very nice starship at 67 studs that will
feature big in my gaming future. AND, I am finally nearing completion on a
second vessel that measures 85 studs in length and 62 studs in width -- its a
monster even though its not in the S.H.I.P. club, and it too will feature big in
my gaming future.
So, I need some people ready to adventure in my sectors, and I need some other
people's sectors to go have fun in.
Right now we seem to have three people reading this forum, one of which is
myself.
We need to figure out how we can bring in some fresh blood, and maybe bring back
some of the old school.
I think I read something a while back about cleaning up links and such on the
web site. I agree with this because I am the biggest offender of this crime.
Me and my changing things have created some weird links on the Starship site,
please do not go looking for them, as I am embarrassed about some of it. (Ideas
that never came to fruition.)
I think we need to advertise!!!
Here soon, once I have pictures of my new vessels, I will be using these uber
cool creations to draw attention to not only myself, but also to the Starship
experience. It is my hope that this will reinvigorate the Starship thang.
But, most of the ALE community only know me as some whack job clone parts user.
I do not have much clout. Richard and John have been around longer and even have
respectable nicknames. If we can all advertise or pool our ideas, I don't know,
we might get this thing off the ground again.
What do you think?

John Maxwell, I did a search for the Sector 62 you mentioned. What is that,
exactly? As for Starship, I hope to get back into the swing of things
assuming that an active community can be revived.
Good to see you Hendo and Richard!

And hello to you too Avery!
Sector 62 was the precursor to the precursor of Starship. Though the adventure
ended, the site still exists at... http://www.ozbricks.com/sector62/
More info on predecessor ideas to Starship can be found here...

I am exploring the possibility of starting a new Lego-based RPG based on

Sector 62 and Starship. I encourage anyone who has an interest in joining me

in this endeavor to contact me, either here (I would prefer here, as this is
readily available and visible to the entire Lugnet community) or at the forums
currently being established for my faction, at www.crayven.net/darkage.

After having explored the deeper reaches of the galaxy where communications are
blocked by dark matter... Oh lets cut to the chase.
I have not been active in quite some time with the hobby, but the brick calls
out to me. I tried to cleanup/refresh my Starship sites a while ago which made
them non-active. If Starship goes through a reboot, I would not mind house
cleaning being done to my sectors and ships -- NOT because I will not be
participating, but because I got so lost with work, uh exploring other
dimensions, that I cannot remember where I was or what I was doing with
Starship. Sorta of a fresh start.
That being said, I have projects once again in the works for building space
vessels made out of ABS brick. I would like to see Starship active once again, I
will make time for it, seriously, to some capacity.
