Q: Jon Palmer – likes future product. What does Brad Justus like in future
products?
A; It would be a lot of fun to do Star Trek, for instance…. They maybe need to
improve the star trek franchise… it’s a logical place to license. I also think
it would be fun to go into classic science fiction novels like Dune or the
Foundation series and mine some of those for ideas.

Wow, that WOULD be a cool idea....both the Star Trek license and improving the
franchise:)

Note that this is Brad's personal desire that he was sort of pressed into
sharing with us (that Jon Palmer, what a troublemaker... he's directly
responsible for the fleebnork infestation that completely destroyed a moonbase
module (to the point of it melting down) and a severe instigator in general)...
Any comments about improving the franchise apply to Paramount, not LEGO, as it's
theirs to improve (:-) ), and again, should not be taken as offical position.

I do know that and am aware that Viacom/Paramount calls the shots on licensing
and Art Asylum has the rights for models and toys at this time. I'm just
surprised that Brad mentioned Star Trek, as  he mentioned, the franchise does
need improving.

Brad also mentioned that he builds just about every set that gets released
through his auspices, including all the UCS's but that he didn't get all the way
through the UCS ISD...

yeah, but does he getto keep them:)?

Ya, I know you know... :-)... call it CYA, I hear Paramount has mean lawyers!

I dunno! Good question for next time!
