In the interest of fairness to all, I hope the "up to three" (or something
similar) limit on scratch and dent sets reportedly instituted at the Washington
Square Mall LEGO fest store event 03/27/2009 continues on to BrickWorld, etc.
First waiting in line at shopping event gets first picks on sets, but everyone
gets a chance at a bargain. With the store occupancy limit quickly reached, and
store staff not wanting to raise the ire of the Fire Marshall many people waited
patiently (or not so patiently) outside the mall store at BrickWorld 2008 while
a few scooped huge piles of 1/2 off merchandise. I'm grateful for whatever the
stores are able to do in conjuction with AFOL events.
