How do I submit images for sets in the Lugnet database? I've scanned
in both the coupon image and the face of the current Quaker Oats promo
set <set:1411>.

best is to probably put them on the web someplace (maybe brickshelf?)
and post about it here, or email db@lugnet.com.

Here ya go:

The polybag front:

The coupon:
  http://www.hafhead.com/temp/1411cpon.jpg

The originals are also available if you want.  Just let me know.  And
there's a reason I posted both of these: neither shows exactly what you receive.

The polybag picture shows exactly what comes in the polybag (not including
the usual "extra" parts- a round 1x1 plate and skeleton arm).  I suppose
this must be set #1411.  But alongside the polybag, you also get a separate
parts baggie with airholes that contains a few more parts.  So the promo
package is /more/ than set #1411.

Specifically, the baggie contains:
  grey 2x2 plate
  grey 1x1 round brick
black 2x2 tile and corresponding 1x2 tile for the "clacker" thing
black preassembled (!?) 1x4/2x2 plate hinge
a bunch of seeds & stems

The coupon shows the polybag set, displayed along with the parts in the
extra baggie.  But there are omissions, substitutions, and additions.

Specifically, the coupon shows a totally different cameraman fig: wrong
legs, torso, head, and hat.  It also shows a (neckerchief?) that you don't get.
And it does *not* show a boom mike made of 3 pieces:
    black 6.5 long bar
grey 1x1 tile with top clip
    grey 1x1 round brick

Is that way more than you needed?

(...) interesting. I added the picture of the bag to 1411, since that's what that is. Not sure where this coupon will fall under though. :) Dan (23 years ago, 25-Feb-02, to lugnet.db.scans)
