A new mode of transportation for castle minifigs —Wilson Raska
What I'm talking about is of course the infamous airship, made popular by many Final Fantasy games. This particular ship is owned and commanded by none other that Vincent Gage himself. While many of you may think this may be too technological for (...) (24 years ago, 28-May-00, to lugnet.castle) !

Re: A new mode of transportation for castle minifigs —Shiri Dori
(...) Well, I'm no FF fan but if you give the technology a magical (majickal - see below) connotation, I certainly won't be against any machinery. For example, check out Jeff Johnston's castle-mecha... (URL)Sorry for all the FF references, (...) (...) (24 years ago, 28-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: A new mode of transportation for castle minifigs —Rob Drechsel
Hey Wilson, great job on that. Highly realistic, and believable. Wonderful interior, and great upper deck. I haven't thought of using FF tech, but it has a lot of possibility. I don't know if anyone collects and plays Warhammer or Warhammer 40K, but (...) (24 years ago, 28-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

Also, Epic 40k mecha style closly resemble medival steam powered mechs. On the chain swords- great idea! Now we need those sonic cannon thingies... OMG! that gives me an idea! Gotta go, Pearson (24 years ago, 29-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: A new mode of transportation for castle minifigs —Jeff Stembel
(...) Oh, darn, ya beat me to it! ;) Actually, I did make two airships about 10 years ago, but they're gone now... Anyway, I just want to say that's a great design! But, uh, where are the rotor-topped masts? ;) (...) IIRC, that is the Old English (...) (24 years ago, 30-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: A new mode of transportation for castle minifigs —Mark Sandlin
Hi Wilson, I like the design of your ship, but I have one suggestion. IMO, your ship needs a trans-fluoro-green crystal piece right in the middle of your crystal room. It's like one you'd get in an Aquazone set (although those are chromed). I'm not (...) (24 years ago, 30-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: A new mode of transportation for castle minifigs —Jeff Stembel
(...) Rock Raiders have 'em. :) (...) Technically, those are SPUDs, not POOPs. :) I prefer the alternate SPUD definition for the boat hulls, though: Single Purpose *Useful* Device. :) Jeff (24 years ago, 30-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

(...) Aquaraiders or RR, I'd bet. (...) Too old, bah! Dat's vhat he sinks, yah! Ve'll show im! <znip> (...) Just wondering, why do you call them POOPs? They aren't really Pieces [that can or should be made] Of Other Pieces... more like SPUDs (...) (24 years ago, 30-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

(...) That crystal would look really good in there, the only problem is that I don't have one. I'll probably get one if some of the Rock Raiders sets ever go one clearance. (...)          Re: A new mode of transportation for castle minifigs —Jeff Johnston
(...) I think you missed out on a good opportunity: give the crystal keeper a trans- green lightsaber blade for a "crystal staff". (You could even stick a lighsaber handle and a gem or Rock Raiders crystal on the top of it.) (24 years ago, 31-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: A new mode of transportation for castle minifigs —Rob Drechsel
