Yesterday I got the following for $9.99 at thrift store. While 85% of
the weight of the bag was about 175 Duplo, primo, and Duplo clones it
also had the following:
6 Horses (3 with saddles, 3 with older style caprisons), 3 16x16 green
baseplates, 1 16x32 green baseplate, 3 large green plates, 6 black
castle wall sections, 6 black castle corner walls, 4 gray castle wall
sections, 2 pine trees, 1 flower set, 111 white bricks, 106 red bricks,
256 yellow bricks, 140 blue bricks, 22 red slopes, 20 red plates, 12
carriage wheels w/ plates, 16 gray bricks, 14 black plates, 48 black
bricks, 11 misc. gray, 22 misc. black, 70 other misc. (doors, windows,
green slopes…) , 1 red Lego case and the best part
31 castle figures (most with all armor and weapons):
3 Black Falcon archers: helm, quiver and bow, -1 bow, +2 shields
4 Crusaders with gold halberd print helm and halberd
2 Figs with gold lion print w/ blue shield, - 1 helm, +1 yellow shield
3 Blue figs from the Classic yellow castle (2 w/ halberd, 1 w/ sword)
1 Red Classic castle fig with sword, helm, red visor
1 White (clubs) classic castle fig with halberd and helm
1 Black (colored Vs) classic castle fig with halberd, helm, shield
1 extra white fig, 1 extra crown armor, 1 extra blank armor
3 Classic figs with red and white shield on torso, w/ helm, sword,
2 with round shields, 1 with triangle shield with same print
1 Classic blue fig, white arms, brown and black checkered shield
print on torso, with quiver and helmet
1 Classic red fig, black arms, tricolor shield on torso, helm

Pretty great deal I thought.

| (...) $9.99 for ALL of that stuff? That's not a thrift shop, that's a theft shop! Why don't we have these deals out in New England?! What with the Target deals and stuff like this, I should just move out west! The further from Enfield you get, the (...) (24 years ago, 24-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)
