If you look into LDraw.ini, you'll find the post:
Natural=0.625,0,1.075,0.5375,1.25,-0.3125,-1.25,0,2.5
quite similar to the one you asked about (I call it Larry here):
Larry=0.63,0.00,1.08,0.54,1.25,-0.31,-1.25,0.00,2.50
They're just differently rounded.
