Announcing Mac Brick CAD (MBC) - formally known as Ldraw Viewer.
I guess the program has matured enough to reach Alpha status and a new name
as well.
This release offers the ability to decode .mpd files correctly
I have also eliminated a number of bugs that were reported - probably added
some new ones as well.
Being Alpha software I intend to now concentrate on the stability and unser
interface for the future rater than add new features.
For new users Mac Brick CAD is an exclusive for the Mac and offers the
following features.
Read and write .ldr (.dat) and .mpd files
Full onscreen editing and model manipulation
Text editing of files also
Fast drawing routines
Part visibility controls for large models
Ability to rotate parts using the mouse directly onscreen
Ability to run under MacOS 8.x through MacOS X
Large numbers of predefined parts for better and faster rendering.
The program as always can be found at my .Mac site

| (...) OK, questions from a *rank* novice at this stuff - ie, somebody who shouldn't even remotely be involved in an alpha release, but... Why do many of the parts of the models not show up (for instance, I have many bushings hanging in mid-space (...) (21 years ago, 22-May-03, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac)
