one of the pressing (1) questions indeed.
This search
http://news.lugnet.com/cad/dev/?q=Stickers+in+LDraw
yielded this thread:
http://news.lugnet.com/cad/dev/?n=6936&t=i&v=a
which was very interesting reading but I'n not sure it was definitive. It
seemed to spend time on parts certification.
Tony's post:
http://news.lugnet.com/cad/dev/?n=6941
raised a lot of good issues though...
I cheated for the one and only sticker I've ever done, I just photoshopped
(2) it into the instructions after skewing it, then used POV techniques:

to get it into the render
1 - youch! a pun!
2 - generic term. I actually used Paint Shop Plus...

| Have we come up with a viable way to represent decals/labels/stickers on parts? And what's the minimum thickness a part can have? Could we make a "label" piece that's 80LDU's wide by 24LDU's tall by, say, .25 LDU's thick? Thanks in advance! Dave! (23 years ago, 17-May-02, to lugnet.cad.dev)
