Over the week-end I had more time, and found exactly the same way, just in C++.
But (how should it be different) there is another problem ...
This works fine for pov-ray, with L3P this methode opens a command-shell, which
is executing L3P, if the tool is ready the command shell stays open and MLCad
does not continue until someone closes this bloody shell.
Now I've found out that the plain c-function 'system()' does it the right way
and the command-shell gets closed.
For now I would provide a switch in the post-processor configuration telling me
which way to start the process to use, ... but for me it's not realy a nice
solution (but shure better than nothing or?)
Have you found something for this problem?

| (...) There are a couple of ways around this. One is to write all the POV-Ray commands to a .BAT file, using the START command with its /WAIT option. After compiling all the needed files, run the .BAT file. Another way is to launch POV-Ray, then put (...) (24 years ago, 19-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)
