99% finished, but I was hitting burn-out factor on this one. The
bottom needs work, for now has bottom studs in place of the boxed off
sections.  Now, since NO WAY am I up to putting images on a curved
surface, it's up to someone else to 'paint' or 'skin' this with the
escape pod panel design from the kit Droid Escape.

I would suggest using bits from part 30056 for the bottom half. That's
what I did when I worked on the quarter panel with spherous top. Also
I would use 1-4CYLI.DAT, 1-4EDGE.DAT, and and 1-4RING3 primitives in
the file to reduce size.

Cool, another excuse to put the 3 months I spent on the bottom half of
30056 to some use.  I don't know how you guys can zip out these parts
so fast.  It took me forever to do that one piece, and I asked Steve so
many questions he might as well have done it himself.

Anyhow, I added the bottom bits and replaced a few sections with
primitives and here it is.  If anyone wants to 'skin' it you just have
to replace the first big cylinder with a painted one.  I don't have
the skill to do that either...

(...) I would suggest using bits from part 30056 for the bottom half. That's what I did when I worked on the quarter panel with spherous top. Also I would use 1-4CYLI.DAT, 1-4EDGE.DAT, and and 1-4RING3 primitives in the file to reduce size. (23 years ago, 10-Sep-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
