A couple of months ago I worked with Philo on creating a complete set of LDraw
parts for the HiTechnic sensors and multiplexers. These are now available for
download from the HiTechnic downloads page.
Look near the bottom of http://www.hitechnic.com/downloads.
This LDraw parts pack includes all currently available HiTechnic sensors as well
as the two multiplexers. For the Sensor Multiplexer, even the battery pack has
been modeled. A very cool feature of this parts pack is that all the units now
have the text printed onto them.
Here is a sample image featuring the parts from this pack:
A really cool thing about the text is how it takes the shape of the surface it
is projected onto. Especially the IR Seeker has quite a bit of curvature and
the text is perfectly projected onto it. Philo used his tool SlicerPro to make
this possible.
You can also see a couple of these sensors used in the building instructions
that are available from the models page: http://www.hitechnic.com/models
Just to be clear, when I say worked with Philo that means I sent him the
list of the sensors and the text that goes onto them and then he did all the
work. Thank you, Philo!

| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | An updated LDraw HiTechnic sensor pack is now available on the
HiTechnic website. The
updated pack includes the two latest HiTechnic sensors: the Angle sensor and the
Magnetic sensor.
Here is the sensor lineup of what is included in the pack:
The parts in this pack, like the original 1.0 sensor pack, were all modeled by
Philo Hurbain. Thank you Philo!
