Hi,
you might have noticed in the call for nominations for the 2006 LSC, that the
elections and the whole LSC itself are still fomalized in a proposal written
back in 2003:

I updated Tim's proposal to a version which reflects LDraw's the current status:

I hereby call for a final community discussion. If you share a concern for the
future of LDraw.org, please take the time to read through this document and
share your feedback. When giving feedback, please be sure to present alternative
draft text for sections you would like to modify. Please DO NOT simply say “I
don’t like that, take it out.”
Once discussion of this final draft (and its subsequent versions) has died down,
and once general consensus among the public is achieved, the document will
undergo a similar ratification process as the LDraw Bylaws did in 2004.
It would be a great help if we could reach agreement by the 15th of July and
ratify along with the LSC elections.
