UCS Darth Maul 2.0 (Seventh in my quest to recreate life-sized Star Wars
characters in the medium of LEGO.
Darth Maul, one of the coolest yet most short-lived characters. IMO Kenobi
should only have DEFEATED Maul at the end of EP1. Then Anakin could've faced
Maul to become the Emperor's #1 in EP3, just as Luke had to face Vader... oh
well.
This project has been on the back burner for a very long time. Two things
inspired me to create this. First, about two years ago I saw something
similar at a Star Wars convention. I'd give credit if there'd been any
information on who created that Maul. Second, I've always been unhappy
with the official version of the UCS Maul. It doesn't look right sitting
next to the other busts I've created. I knew it could be done with more
realism.
