Take a look at this news release from a few months back.

If they are indeed making NBA theme Lego I would hope that they produce
ethnic minifigs.
Of course the Soccer Lego had all yellow heads (I believe).

For most ethnic groups its possible to get away with using the stock minifig faces -- yellow (...) (22 years ago, 20-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.minifigs)
