This is the first phase of my Railway Cannon project. This gun, although smaller, is very much based on the (URL) Schwerer Gustav>, aka "Dora". The TARC (Tabletown Army Railway Cannon) MkI- AKA the "Mighty Lizbet" is a 300mm Railway Cannon capable (...) (16 years ago, 10-May-08, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.announce, lugnet.announce, FTX) !

These are the remaining elements to go with my Railway Cannon project. (URL) The front carriage is the ammunition store and loading platform - it's the same height as the breech on the cannon itself. (URL) "Mighty Lizbet" herself now sits on a split-level carriage, lowering her centre of gravity and making the shape more what I originally intended. the carriage is also (...) Argh..somebody help me please, I can't stop adding new bits to my railway cannon... This is the support Gun Carriage for the "Mighty Lizbet" Rail Cannon. A bit of tinkering, and I now have full 180 degree movement on each gun. Have also made a few other minor aesthetic changes so it's wholly in keeping with the rest of the train.
