Andrew,
Thanks for sharing all your military MOCs here! I'll just comment on all your
vehicles in this one post, rather than in separate ones.
I like them all! They have the sort of look that you'd almost expect LEGO to go
with if they were ever to come up with an official military line. Of ocurse that
is unlikely to happen any time soon, but scale and stylewise, they seem to fit
in nicely into a LEGO town display. In addition to that, I really like how they
all share the same design style, as if they were all produced by the same
factory at around the same time, with some interchangeable pieces and such. It
looks like you're building more than one of at least some of these, which is
always very cool. If you want to shake things up, you can always build some in
different camouflague colors or maybe with different weapons or something.
You've also included some great functional details, from the communications
antennaes to the walkie talkies, shovels and other minifig equipment. I like how
you've used the green slope pieces on the sides of the MBT. If you want to take
this a step further, you could try to come up with minifigs that look a little
less civilian;)
FYI, Lugnet has a dedicated military Newsgroup build.military, that I'll FWD
this thread to. You also find that the best way to show off a new MOC on Lugnet
is if you post to lugnet.announce.moc. There are lots of newsgroups here to get
used to, so don't worry if it seems a little overwhelming at first.
Best of all perhaps, check out the military LEGO Flickr group at:

Hope to see you over there with pix of your military hardware :)
cheers
Magnus

| Magnus, Many thanks for the feedback, it is appreciated. It is hard to keep track of the newsgroups here, I came out of a mini dark age this year but I joined LUGNET some years ago - alas it seems to have fallen into disuse quite a bit so it's just (...) | OK, so I couldn't help myself - here is the Sentinel Class Recon'/Utility Vehicle (RUV), based loosely on a Jeep, its purpose is to scout enemy territory, act as a patrol vehicle and as a general runaround.
