I would suggest a Bazooka but thats probobly too simiar to the RPG you
already have.

We already have a Revolver (from western/adventurers etc) that will
substitute for modern revolvers.

Also, your existing pistol will suffice for most pistols (given that just
about any pistol made afterwards ripped off the Colt M1911 design)

But what would be nice is a pump action shotgun (no idea what sort, I am
not a shotgun expert but something like you see in all the action movies
would be nice). Something more "modern" than the shotgun type weapon from
the Adventurers and Western series.

Another suggestion is the machine gun seen in the movies, the one which has
a barrel/upper part that is basicly square and has a vertical stock comming
down from roughly the center of the barrel. No idea what its called (or if
it would work at minifig scale).

Perhaps a sniper rifle (the kind with the fat circular scope thing on the top).

Just some ideas :)

I just ordered two sets of the combo weapon pack! Great job on the weapons.

I would suggest adding a sniper rifle to the line also.

The shotgun might be cool but also might be hard. Maybe you could do a sawed
off shotgun ala Road Warrior style.

One other gun that might be cool that is frequently used by SWAT forces
would be a HK MP5.

Not only that, but to me it is a very "boring" weapon cosmetically - just a
hollow tube & trigger.  Not much eye candy, and the tube is so large that a
minifig could not hold it by itself.  The RPG I offer can be grasped anywhere
but the warhead.

Noted. That is why I opted not to include the signature notch on the forward end
of the slide.  That allows my M1911 to be used in other ways.  In fact, the
proportions of my pistol allow it to be used in other says. My son jams it into
all kinds of things to add a nice "grip & trigger".

Something like a Spas 12, perhaps?  It is already on the drawing board.  Great
minds think alike! :)

John, you echo my thoughts exactly!  The MP5 was actually the first modern
weapon I had modeled, but I thought its appeal was limited.  I was wrong! I have
received many many requests for it already.  I should put up an R&D page on
BrickArms to show some variants on the drawing board.

Damn you, now I'm going to have to make some 'Nam dioramas...

Seriously, though, those gats are pretty awesome - I am totally blown away (no
pun intended).

I agree, an MP5 would be nice.  So would a sawed-off shotgun.  So would a sniper
rifle.  All these ideas - hopefully my purchase today will help to fund some
further development!

I purposely decided to not mold the grenade launcher and fancy optics onto the
M4 so it could be used for Vietnam & present day use.  But, no matter what I do,
someone still wants the "Night Sight" and "Launcher Thingy". :)

I've been absolutely swamped with orders!  I never thought I may actually run
out of items within a month, but if the pace keeps up, it will happen!

But, if that occurs, I'll be able to bring out a couple of new items a bit
quicker than I had expected.

I'm very impressed by your work, Will...just a few potential ideas for lines of
expansion, not so much specific weapons as useful parts LEGO is unlikely to ever
make.

Grenades.  These don't have to be pineapples or anything complicated; a short
section of gray lightsaber blade with a pin on top would look both modern and
menacing.  An accompanying neckgear bandolier that could hold two or three
across the chest would be wicked cool, but even the grenades alone would be
better than the 1x1 green cylinders my guys have been tearing off Pirate palm
trees to lob at one another for years.

Holsters.  One of the problems with arming minifigs is that they only have two
places to hold weapons unless you add more attachment points...and believe me,
<http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=14843 I've tried.>  Something
as simple as a 1x2 piece of thin plastic with holes through it for a minifig's
leg pegs and a hand on one or both ends, worn like a belt, would allow figs to
carry a knife or revolver with something smaller than an Adventurers backpack.
An equivalent piece of neckgear (possibly incorporated into the same bandolier
above) could put a diagonally mounted hand on a fig's back, allowing it to carry
a rifle there with the same ease Castle ninjas can carry a katana.

Visors.  Somebody mentioned helmets, but visors also provide a lot of
personality and might be easier to produce.  NVGs for special-forces types,
full-face clear masks for SWAT teams, something similar to Launch Command
astronaut visors in smoke-black for fighter pilots...there's a lot of
possibilities.  Me, I'd take almost anything more useful than goggles that'll
flip down all the way on the Adventurers pilot's caps I've given my SPETSNAZ
team.

Bipods.  I understand your reluctance to get into add-on parts for weapons,
since a customized, field-strippable M4 with recognizable parts would probably
end up larger than the minifig expected to hold it, but a few carefully selected
parts usable with many weapons would probably be worth the effort.  A snap-on
bipod piece designed to fit onto a round barrel would be extremely modular
across all kinds of rifle designs, without significantly expanding the size of
the host weapon.

As for actual weapons, I'm inclined to suggest the hardest stuff to build:
sniper rifles top the list, of course, but every Stinger launcher I've seen or
attempted has come in as either a TV camera with pretensions or so big it'd be
better off in its own turret.  Above all, though, keep this stuff coming!
