Backstory:
"Rin Tin Tin Din Din" was developed after the ill fated Qwilljox was lost
beneath a subsurface fisure while exploring for signs of water scans on the
Moon.

Deep subsurface scans still showed signs of water on the Moon. The
Exploration Conglomerate still wanted to pursue this vital and valuable
resource even though their first attempts to locate the traces failed. The
doomed Qwilljox was lost in the deep caverns of the Moon and also provided a
bonus if it were to be found. The A.I. Core was a Prototype one of a kind
and much could be learned from its memory banks.
After being lost for 10 years the Qwilljox must have explored most of the
accessible tunnels and pathways of its underground tomb. This experience
could provide the EC with detailed maps of the subsurface of the Moon. In
this hope the EC set out to construct a Retreival Mecha with the hopes of
bringing home the Qwilljox and to learn about its journey through Middle Moon.
"Rin Tin Tin Din Din" was designed by Eric Sophie a crack-pot Mecha
Engineer. When asked about the name and details of its construction, Mr.
Sophie replied, "I named it after my Cat, but I didn't actually name the
Cat, my Wife did; aparently when called for Dinner the kitty responded to
the call for "Din Din" when it was time to eat, so the name stuck."
I also felt an afinity for the Robot Nomenclature from days of yor, hence
the "Rin Tin Tin" prefix.
The the Mad Scientist slammed down a Technical readout and said "it's all here"
The readout mentions the following attributes and deatils:
This Quadraped Mecha hosts two Droids. One rides in the head and serves as
the Scout.
The second Pilot Droid acts as the central processor for all locomotion
activity and sits directly
behind the head inbetween the shoulders.
The Mech has a pivoted Spine (via Throw-Bot Gear Box).
The hips are mounted using double ball joints (Bohrok/Bionicle)
The rest of the leg joints also incorporate TBGB's.
The rear portion of the Mecha contains storage and utility bays.
The Tail consists of Ball Joints and can be twisted from side to side and
helps to maintain balance.
Long Claws front and rear help in accention/decention into and out of the
Moon's subsurface.
A set of Claw Arms can extend from its sides, mounted behind small doors
around its midsection.
The Mech is very nimble and can assume a variety of poses, which of have yet
to be tested.
A future press release showing the its full capabilities are forth comming.

This latest Retrieval Mecha is slated to go online December 31st. to begin
its mission to search out signs of subsurface water, to attempt to locate
and bring home the Qwilljox and finally lay to rest its Entombed Pilot.

"Rin Tin Tin Din Din" carries the EC insignia which is worn around its neck
in the hopes that the Qwilljox's A.I. Core will
recognize its maker symbol and follow the Retrieval Mecha back to home base.
