Mladen,
That is a really great looking construction. I don't know a lot about
"Mecha", but that is a beautiful looking machine.
I did see "Ghost in the Shell", and it reminds me a bit of the style of some
of the equipment in that film.
Has anyone seen the tan-coloured "Tank" style machine near the end of that
film? I think that would make a great project to try out of LEGO.

Thank you Iain! ;-)

Yes, I built this MOC in the "Anime" style.

Hmmm... The closest thing to the GITS "tank" (from the movie OR anime) that
I've ever made is this: http://www3.sympatico.ca/mladenpejic/Dritver.htm
Jon Palmer has built a "Fuchikoma" (from the comic book OR manga):

You know that I don't need to reply for you to know what I think of this, oh
well, ;-D
Great job Mladen!
The overall roundness of it is astonishing, every hting kind of flows into
the next thing, well done!
The huge hips rule! and the fact that mini gun pod things are hidden inside
is just too cool!
The feet seem a tad small, but still loook great!
The smoothness of the legs is very cool!
The rifle is awesome! great detial, reminds me of Mark's doom raven.
The head is cool but VERY different, nice work!
The blue things coming out of the shoulder are a very nice touch,
The mech as a whole looks very anime inspired, The upper chest has very cool
form, nice shape to it, heck, the whole thing has a nice shape to it!
The fuel tanks (?) shooting out the back are very nice,, very original, and
the wings shooting out the back are awesome! nice work!
Great job on yet ANOTHER masterful mecha creation,
I don't think anythig on this mecha looks out of place, I love the whole thing!
I look forward to seeing more! (how many times have I said that now?) ;-D

Those are actually tubes which launch countermeasures.

Well, like the "Azriel", it is an aerospace mecha AND land mecha.

How so? The round 4x4 dish? My rifle looks nothing like his:

Actually, the drop tank idea is from Gundam. Others have done it before in
LEGO.

Mladen,
Whoa! Nicely done, my man! Generally, I'm not a fan of black and blue in the
same model, but the grey diffuses the other two quite well. I love the 'few
studs' look. The tiles add greatly to the look of the coyote. Those shoulders
rock! I like the way the smoothe black parts come together, but I'm still
figuring out how you did it. :)
I think my favorite section of coyote are the feet. The ankle flare is simple,
yet elegant! All, in all, well done!

Ah, thanks for the kind comments Dave, I really appreciate them. ;-)

Yeah, the legs (well the lower parts anyway) sorta look feminine; the feet even
have "high heels". Thanks again.

I am so impressed with this one Mladen!
I love how every part of the Coyote smoothly and seamlessly
fit together. This is my favority so far. I always enjoy
your mechs but this one.... this one.... ah... I got now words.
All I can say is thank you.
WOW.

first thing I said when I got to the above page "whoa". The form of this
mech is amazing. I love the vents in the blue outer torso parts. (I think
that is what they are) The legs are pretty cool, a little skinny but It
makes it look real fast. like the skinny really fast "running" legs in
armored core. I love the Gundam style external fuel tanks. (incorporated
them into my last design) I like your method for getting them to stick out
at an angle from the back and the side. It looks like it holds on much
better than either of my designs. That gun is really unique too. looks
like if fire a liquid or gel. rather than a projectile or beam. it is one
of the most organic looking lego guns I've seen.

Thanks! Yeah, the feet are skinny because the mecha does more combat in
atmospheres and space than on land.

Yeah, I really like how you use them on your mecha. Mine are held together by a
1x2 hinge, 1x2 plate with centre stud, and a 1x2 technic beam.

Heh, yeah I guess it looks "multi-purpose". Still, I like to think of it as a
beam cannon.

Don't worry about it, it's probably best I keep myself humble at this age.
I'm sure one day I'll be able to pump out some awesome mecha. Hmm.. well to
be honest.. if I could just get some feedback from you about the Swinger
model (the Swinger 3 Unveiled post) my day would be made.... Really.. I just
want some feedback about Swinger 3.. that's all... *sniff sniff* ~sigh~ Oh

Once again, you amaze me buddy. There are great things to be said about
this mecha...
The feet are cool; I like the panels on the backs of the heels.
The legs are appropriate in fitting with the name...if a dog could stand
perfectly upright, that's what his legs and knees would look like.
The cockpit's nice and cramped and full of gizmos, just like mecha pilots
like it. :-)
And the shoulders are great too...lots of ka-booms there.
All in all, shweet!

A fine job, as usual! I really like the legs on this particular mecha. They
appear to be inspired by Tallgeese from "Gundam Wing"; i think it's amazing
that you were able to replicate that particular appearance.
I also like the cockpit a lot. This mecha seems to deviate a little from your
most recent ones, in that it looks lighter, and it has a cleaner design. I
can't wait to see where you go with your next model!

Thanks Chris! Yes, the mecha is definitely inspired by anime such as Gundam
Wing. However, I did not try to replicate the Tallgeese legs EXACTLY:
http://www.gundamproject.com/mecha/gundamwing_tallgeese.html
My legs sorta differ in that they have more bulbous sides. ;-)

Ah, thanks again! ;-D
This will probably be my last humanoid mecha this year. After I create a .DAT
file for this model, I'll start work on that gunship I have been talkin' 'bout
since the summer... Then maybe after that I'll work on another mecha.

Mladen,
Wow! Y'know it is becoming rather redundant of me to continiue to praise
your work ceaselessly-- you've got to turn out some duds soon! Suffice to
say that this is another amazing creation. I love the legs in particular--
the knee structure is clean and yet elaborate. The arms, particularly the
back of the elbows, are also thoroughly thought out. The back, a labyrinth
of detail. The colour scheme is excellent, naturally.
My gosh, it's despicable how good it is!

This is a good one, check out how you made the chest and used theose boat
hulls, the cock-pit is awesome, I like how the computer slops are on their
sides, really neat to see that hex type shape where the driver sits, also
the arms and legs are very cool, looks sleek, the chest arm shoulder area
with the blue vent deals are very nice, I like the way the parts fit together.
Another thing I dig is how you take a risk in making the head a little bit
asymetrical. I almost never do anthing that results in having one pcs. on a
side and not the other. I'm a stickler for symetry, it's cool how you allow
yourself to do things like that.
The color scheme is great, looks like it's a hot rod of Mecha.
Good job and thanks for being such a great builder. I always enjoy seeing
and thinking about how you make the Mecha that you do, heck I like seeing
everyones creativity.

Thanks Eric! The cockpit one of things that caused a lot of frustrations in the
beginning; it's always a challenge to set aside enough room for a mini-fig. I
really wanted this model to end up sleek and "smooth", I think I was quite
successful. ;-D

Ah yes, the head... The vane on the left side was inspired by the [1] Ingram
mecha seen in the Patlabor anime. I've been a huge fan of this type of head
design ('cept I sometimes replace the vane with long antennas)... You can see
this influence in my earlier mecha.

Very clean Mladen. Nice lines and color scheme. Fits in well with the MAP
(?). I really like the Patlabor style head. You've managed to fit that fin
in cleanly. I love the overall smoothness of the mecha. It looks fast and
mobile. And finally you're a stinker for not showing me any teasers!
