Hey there Mechy friends! I met my friend Tim at camp a while back, and not
only do I find out he loves Lego, he builds mechs! WOOOHOOOO!

Right now, his name stands as Tim --------, due to security reasons, his
last name is held confidential, that is why I have posted for him, and his
pics are in my brickshelf account, This may change evenually, but as it
stands, I am Tim ------------'s advocator.

So without further ado, his newest mech, The velociraptor! Very cool mech
IMO, his second (or third) mech for the record.

Here's what Tim sent me to post for him about his mech,

X-88 Velociraptor
This mech the combines the speed of a M-class mecha and the firepower of
a G-class. It is still in the testing stages but we already can tell that
it is one awesome creation from the small manufacture Dino Fleet.
It sports two Particle Projection Cannons (arms), two Extended Range
Particle Projection Cannons (body), one sf4 Sniper Auto Cannon (right
arm) one Electronic Corruption Missile tube (left arm), and finally two
SRM5 batteries finish this awesome list of  weapons.
The Velociraptor also has two solid steel claws on the front of each
foot. Almost all pilots who have controlled the Velociraptor in
simulations have been able to produce a devastating effect with them by
charging head-on into a sea of infantry.
Unfortunately, with all these weapons and targeting equipment the is
little room left for the Velociraptor’s power supply. Fortunately Dino
Fleet scientists were able to compress a fusion reactor and install in
the Raptor just below the main body.
True the use of a fusion reactor  gives the raptor incredible range but
it also generates a tremendous amount of heat. Even though the raptor has
seven over-sized heat sink vanes, it still produces the average amount of
heat a J-class mecha does.

Let Tim know what you think! He really wants to know. I personally think
that this rocks, cool design and a very good use of the 4 x 4 dishes, lots
of SNOT, I like that.

So say Hi and let him know what you think! C'ya! Oh yeah one more thing,
Mladen, he thinks you're stuff rules (who doesn't?) he asks all sorts of
stuff about your mechs and space ships all the time, He escpeically likes
the OZ-66 Terror and the Mirage.

C'y'all!

(...) me them reverse-articulated legs. I also like the armor plates down the upper back...very cool. So, this is only Timms third mecha? He's a natural, then. Matt (23 years ago, 13-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
