Hi builders and buildettes,

After being stuck at home for days with a partially collapsed lung (spontaneous pneumothorax for those in the know) for with the doctor says just ‘rest’ I had a good build session and finally got a mech done. It’s been a while since I’ve done a decent mech and this one was great fun!

Thanks goes out to Mladen for his advice.

Hey Zac, this is a fantastic little mech. The greebling keeps it plenty busy and looks like a tank. The roundness of the legs sold me. The body looks a bit boxy for the size of it, but again, as a tank isn't too much of a hit. I like your variations (...) (19 years ago, 25-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

(...) -snip- (...) Here's a corrected link: (URL) I really like the small changes you made, Zac. The AA guns are awesome, and look like they can depress to engage ground targets, which is what AA guns do most of the time when they're not firing (...) Hi Zac, great job! I like the legs and feet. The details and the guns. But most of all I like that look of this bulky body heading straight foreward to blow away everything that's in the way. (4 URLs) Here you can see it the best! I tried this look (...) (19 years ago, 25-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Zac, What can I say, This is just a well executed mecha. I love the amount of detail in such a small package. It kinda reminds me of a Cicada from Battletech, that is, until you added the AA guns. :) Keep on building! Jon (19 years ago, 26-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

(...) Remind me to partially collapse my lung next time I'm there's a mecha competition, it might improve my entry. This mech rocks, but I have a couple of questions: Does the cockpit have a cup-holder, and is it legal in Kentucky? -Keith (19 years ago, 27-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
