If I got it right - over the language barrier - this suggestion wasn’t meant
that earnest. If it was, I need explaination too.

To your hip problem, check out BS gallery of mc7 for double ball joints. Or
look in Christopher Sneads joint tips for gear joints. Maybe a look on my
hip design could help you too. Try rotational click hinges. Feel free to use
whatever is usefull, as long as it’s built of original
Lego parts.

The legs just about complete (apart from a few cosmetic things)



It also passes the “Bucket of Change” test. Those ATAT leg joints are tough mothers.

I’ve started on the body. Legs are still holding in there... it’s going to end up pretty heavy though!
