Hi all,
Been a while since I last posted, since my last (not quite finished) post I got
distracted and built this...
Brickshelf Link
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=131207
It is heavily inspired by the works of Soren and Mladen and obviously Shirow
Masamune, whose work I love. Took about 6 hours to build, over 2 days. The pilot
has minimal armour protection, but the DB 115 features advanced counter-measures
as well as an impressive array of firepower. This comes in the form of satellite
guided missiles, plasma field disrupter, EMP array and short- range pulse
cannons. The DB 115 also features interchangeable front arms that can be tuned
to suit numerous mission types.
Thanks for viewing, all critiques and opinions much appreciated!

Sorry, I dont know the last one (but Ill have to seek for him!). The
inspiration can easily been seen. You did a good job! You were inspired but you
built your very own creation.

Hey you are fast!

The pilot has minimal armour protection

Thats the only thing I dont like! Why should one build a piloted combat
machine which is totally useless without the pilot and not take care for him? I
think human ressoures like good trained combat pilots are worth protection!

That sounds quite well armed!

Thanks for shareing. Its a pleasure to look at. Id like to see more detail
pictures e.g. of who you attached the legs.
Keep up your good work,
Marco

Hey cool, lot's of stuff attached to the Multiped. I was thinking it could do
with longer legs. Though that is up to you. The body has cool stuff, perhaps
extend the legs and you'll show off the chunky body?
Good detail, thanks for sharring!
Great props to the builders you mentioned too.

This is a slick build, especially for only six hours! (I think I may have
already spent six hours just on the feet of my current mech project.) It
definitely reminds me of the work of the builders you mention. I like how you
contoured the front section with the different slopes and wedges.
Note to Marco: Masamune Shirow is a Japanese manga artist who has designed some
excellent mecha. Just off the top of my head, I know that Mladen, Soren, David
Rabadan, Mark Neumann and I are all Shirow fans (as well as probably a bunch
more builders in .mecha that I didnt know about or forgot).

All I can say is thank goodness for distractions. Im loving this multiped. Very
SorMladen or MladSoren as the case may be. Youre details and excellent
photography give it just the right touch, Jas.
Great job!
