Hatchet Boomerang!
It looks like the Pandemonium Empire has resurfaced and theyve learned from
their past defeats. And all those spikes collect Omicron rays. You know what
that means...
This is the most stressed pose Ive done with the Teknomeka skeleton.
Theres a lot of force on the bent knee and ankle, and the arm with the hatchet.
It holds up with no problem.

The legs on this mecha, as well as the head, remind me of the Mazinger Z and
Getter Robo style robots; Actually, The head and the axe remind me of Garada
K7 http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN925447
Are you using the same teknomeka frame for each of these creations, or do you
build one frame per mecha? I would love to see a group photo with the Giant
Robo, this mecha, and some of your other large creations.
Great work!
Later,
Chris

Thanks. I built two frames during development and reskinned the second one
several times. I wanted to see if I could get a retro look. This one looks eager
to fight Getter Robo G, hatchet to hatchet.
All the giant robots from the 70s anime series were sort of rounded and
impractical and the bad guy robots always had a gimmick, a unique weapon of evil
genius (to make it look like they had a chance of winning, for the sake of
drama). That Garada K7 looks fierce. I like the accentuated edge to the blade
that says Im sharp enough to cut you in half. My robots horns shoot red
lightning bolts, they are very dramatic, with background music, and cackles of
evil laughter.
Ill do a group photo when I finish resorting and cleaning up my construction
area.

Your Teknomeka are SO ENORMOUS! Theyre so big that in the thumbnails you cant
tell if there are any studs! Great feet and head on this one--very impressive.

Thanks. I gave the head a pronounced jaw and made the feet stubby and rounded
for the retro look. Im going to try to further develop this style. Actually
though, to be proper retro giant robot minifig scale (RGRMS), I think it would
have to be at least 25% larger!
