Hey all,
Guess whos back with a brand new moc.
For all your viewing pleasure, the Knight:
This is the result of someones post (cant remember who) saying that they were
disappointed that the Gamut and Shen Kai didnt have leg joints. So I set out
to make my most poseable mecha yet, and a small one at that.
And for some reason, I just noticed that my webpage is gone like it never
existed. So Brickshelf pics will have to do. 01-16 for those interested.
Glad to be back,

Just like a case of genital herpes, you go away for a while and then flare up.
The moc is great, but its even better to have you back C-Mad.

When you left, we tried to erase every shred of evidence that you ever existed.
Your departure was just too painful.
Great powersuit, I dig the feet especially...then again I have a mecha
foot-fetish. The main gun is quite good, it has that beefy two-barrels of death
look to it. My only complaint/suggestion would be the lack of read and blue
lights...oh...and you need a shirtless minifig fleeing in terror.

I think that was me LOL.
I dig the MOC. Could this be considered an upgrade to the Gamut?
It is a huge improvement, lots more posseability.
My favorite part has to be the whole leg and foot assembly.
The feet do seem a little too big for the suit though.
Anyway, hope to see more of suits from ya.
Glad youre back to Chris.
David.

Chris,
I dig it. And to think I almost I left after posting and didnt bother to check
.space (& .mecha & .castle...did I say that? ;-P) cause of being annoyed at the
most recent bickering mess. Anywho, great powersuit you have here, but, like the
others said, even better to have you back. ;-)
I particularly like the medium gun and the crotch construction (you dont see 45
degree offset too much; or maybe im not familiar with mecha at this size
::shrug::). I still think the Gamut rocks though.
Also, I came up with a generic police officer the other night and assault rifle
design (which I dont think has been done but could be wrong) and Ill take some
pics later and post em. I was thinking generic in the sense of your troopers
actually (ones with that infamous bounty hunter torso).
See ya around,

That is my kind of powersuit! Love the colour and police theme and the chunky
armour really suits. The weapon placement is great, as is the minifig location,
a head piece that fits over the minifig head would be cool, but perhaps not
practical with its small size. Overall I think this is one cool MOC, it makes me
want to try a powersuit sized mech for myself, doubt it will be as rockin as
this one though!
Great work, thanks for sharing,
Jas

Ahh, smack-diggity, how I've missed it so...hey man, good to be back, if even on
a bit of a limited basis. Seems like a lot has changed around here, but that's
for a 100+ post thread that I don't have time for.

So that's why those guys kept following me with little blinky inkpens...

Thanks bro. Shirtless minifig, dammit, I knew I was forgetting something.
Speaking of shirtless, how's mom doing? Or have we yet evolved past Keith's mom
jokes. :-)

Thanks David. Yes, this is a definite Gamut upgrade. I only wish I could get
this poseability into something the size of the Gamut. The quest continues...

Yeah, that's probably the biggest "innovation" this one has over anything else
I've done. Serves to let the legs swivel on the vertical axis, as well as
providing waist articulation. But it's so frail. 9 times out of 10, if
something comes apart, it's the torso from the legs/crotch. One single stud
doesn't hold much.

Cool, let's see what you've got!

Thanks Jas. I had contemplated a headpiece, a la Patlabor, but it always wound
up being way too tall and necky. I like the look that high shoulders gives, so
I opted for it again. And the nice thing about most of the small designs I make
is almost every single part used in construction is visible in the pictures.
Every single one in regards to the Gamut. So theyre fairly easy to reverse
engineer and reconstruct. Give it a go; Id love to see what you come up with.

What what what! C-MAD!
Hey that MOC is shwwwwweeeet.
The super cool legs and color scheme make me smile!
...and I see that cool detail you got goinn on goinon....with those red and
blue trans tiles on the back shhhhhhhide. Again, shwwwweeeeet.
This is a very nice expansion of the previous Power Armors you have made.
Only thing I gotta suggest, to be honest, is you need to slap another plate
under those pair of headlight bricks you use in the upper shoulders. Needs some
re-inforcement. Buy map.
I also had a cool idea for your hips, I think Ill build it and post a picture,
it will be easier to explain. Buy map.
BTW, this friggn picture is sooooo cool!
WOW!
Great to see you around, oh honored member of the LMHoF!
Buy map.

A very nice mecha indeed! Im glad to see youre back and building again. I
have always liked your mini-mecha, but Im glad to see that you put some nice
articulation into this latest model.
I cant wait to see what you come up with next!
Later,

Nice to see you back building and posting again, Chris. The Gamuts a classic,
and the Knight improves on the basic design with added mobility. I think
someone else mentioned this too, but I get a Patlabor feel from this one.
