After building my first Mech the PlatforMech ABD-I I decided that I also needed an alien race to battle (You
know how Mech, unless your Eric, leads to war).
So I present the Kalate OmniDroid
Since I am still progressing and learning about Mechs, I would appreciate some
critics on this Model.
I also created two more PlatforMechs, the ABD-II and ABD-III
These are really just ABD-I Mechs with different capabilities. I really didnt
implement any of the suggestions made on the ABD-I Mech, mostly because I took
the advice and moved on to a z24 gear driven Mech.
PLEASE, HUMOR THE NEWBIE
So I thought it would be fun to create a little scaled battle scene between a
Kalate OmniDroid and a PlatforMech ABD-I. Please critic this MOC, too.
Thanks
Brian

| -snippity- Brian, The mechs themselves seem a bit on the skinny side. A bit too colorful and thin-limbed to be convincing warmechs. I like the concept of the Omnidroid, and the way you carried it out with the bionicle pieces. But what I really liked (...) (20 years ago, 14-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

A few creations, in even a smallish setting make for an awesome creation overall. This is a (...) (20 years ago, 14-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

| I really like all the gadgetry you put on this new mech... however, i'm gonna have to agree w/ what i read about the bionicle legs... they're too easy. i know that i'm sounding like a broken record, but you should consider at least adding some 'dead (...) | I like the general low-slung shape of these mechs. They look very agressive, and the large back-side could be equipped with a variety of things, such as huge missile launchers, a rocket booster pack, massive railguns... The underside and the arms (...) (20 years ago, 17-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
