Hi All-

Just a little preview to what I’ve been doing lately.

Archangel on Brickshelf Archangel on MOCPages

That’s one of three new models that will be photographed and edited and posted sooner or later.

Preview? I saw this marked as “final” and added your post to the sidebar.

Not too shabby Ryan. Pretty blocky, shoulders, hip armor, and lower legs (with rounded corners though) all seem really sqare. I’ll give you credit though, the knee armor is pretty well done, and the head has some expression yet the red thing makes him look like a chicken. I really dig the mount for the shoulder missle launcher. That’s really cool. Wings with jets built in, always tricky, but I’m a sucker for flying mechs. Hinges may have looked better on the back however. A touch more work on the ankle and then your mech would be flat footed. I can appreciate why the articulation isn’t there but I thought I’d mention it.

Question: How do you like it? Did you have some fun building it? Gonna do another one?

Thanks for sharing Ryan!

Well, I took those pictures, edited, and uploaded them after posting. PRetty fast moderation on b-shelf these days.

Yeah, blocky it is, I should probably fix that if I rework the model like I usually end up doing. The chicken-thing is my lousy excuse for a crest. It’s there because the red looks good on the model, according to me. Thx for the props on the missile launcher...I actually built that for a tank, but was like ‘hmm, this looks too nice for a tank...’ I’d love to do flat feet, but I’m still tring to figure out a good hinge configuration. Maybe on the rework, like I said.

It was LOADS of fun, honestly. And yes, there’s a counterpart in progress...a demon-gundam...*evil cackle*
