This is SO amazing. Four years of Brick Commander (aka LEGO Mechcommander)! That
doesn't just mean four years of simply having been around, no, it means four
incredibly busy years of creating and releasing tons (make that TONS!) of models
on a regular schedule. Please allow me for a moment to be utterly impressed and
pleased with myself ;)
Ah umm, ok now. So, obviously I was quite in a need of something special for
right this occasion. How about a huge LEGO Dropship? Or an even bigger and even
more impressive LEGO palace? Or maybe a LEGO XXXX?
Hehe sorry, I had to X-out that last idea in order to save it for later ... ;)
I decided on rather doing a special BattleMech. Something really spectacular and
unheard of, you know. I had this "Mechwarrior: Dark Age" figure of a Project
Phoenix Warhammer IIC sitting near my screen since the "MW:DA" expansion "Liao
Incursion" came out, challenging me to build it. It was one of the best new
designs so far, and it even was a unique fig for my favorite faction! The
sculptor did a really good job on it too, down to duplicating the Mech's
slightly awkward pose from the Technical Readout's artwork. In fact that's
exactly the 'Mech that held the pole position on my TO DO list. But so far I had
always chickened out when it came to pick a new model to do. Until a couple of
days ago, when I finally started building the WH IIC with images of a great
future LEGO model in mind (and a certain deadline not to cross, as well).

I suppose one could say I work best when under a bit of stress and pressure, eh?
:)
4 years, wow. Well, that kind of occasion is also always a great opportunity to
thank my visitors for their ... well, for their visits of course. Special thanks
anyway go to those who contributed with their feedback in keeping me interested
and motivated, thus helping big time in keeping this site going on and on.
Thanks to all three of you! ;)
I understand you're a bit tired of my chattering now and really rather want to
get your present, right? Ok, drop by and download the dat-file, as always for
use with MLCad or other suitable viewing software, providing you with handy,
easy-to-use building instructions for a certain model I like to talk alot of
recently, as you may have noticed ...
You probably should know that since the WH IIC is supposed to be a unique
dat-file it has to be quite rare, and this is why approximately seven out of
eight downloads will fail. Sorry for the inconvenience ;)
So long, and thanks for all the bricks,
your "Primus" Burkhard

| (...) MMM, Minifig scale Lego dropship *drool* (...) 4 Years only?? It seems like your site has been around longer. Seems like it is one of the only constantly updated lego mech sites out there. I see more new mecha on brickcommander than brickshelf (...) (21 years ago, 11-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

| I've been a big fan since you got started. Your site and your models are excellent! It's always a treat for me to surf on by and see you've added another design or set of photos. I agree with Eric. Four more years! (21 years ago, 12-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
