I visited the website that Jon linked to and from there, i visited the website
of the religious organization behind the contest.  I think it should be clear to
everyone that this contest is a religion-promotion campaign aimed at promoting
the religious aspect of Xmas.  Therefore, participating in such an event is like
approving to such a concept.  It's fine if you do, I just thought it should be
clear to everyone that this was religion stuff and not a simple LEGO MOC
contest.  Well, that's from my point of vue.  Maybe I'm wrong and participating
in a religion-promotion event like this is not at all approving the religion
itself.

Good luck to those of you who will participate.  I think it's safe to say that I
won't... :-)

Terry

Christmas is a religious holidy. (CHRIST-mas) I'm puzzled as to why anyone would object to making religious stuff for a religious holidy. (21 years ago, 30-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.contests)

(...) Um, well, the contest theme does state that the model "...MUST meet the criteria of representing the SPIRITUAL aspect of Christmas..." (emphasis added) so, yes that seems like a safe bet. Rick C. (21 years ago, 1-Sep-03, to lugnet.build.contests)
