First off, I would like to thank everyone for the warm welcome to Lugnet as
well as your comments and suggestions regarding BLAST. It is kind of funny,
conceding I started BLAST as a way to learn about website creation and was
not even sure if I would ever bother to publish it. But, I am glad I did.

It appears, from several of your comments I should consider adding
thumbnails, as well as making access to the images easier. The lack of
thumbnails is simply a result of my laziness, but unfortunately it appears
to be hurting the site. To be honest, the lack of thumbnails on a website
does not really bother me, but I am seriously considering adding them.

As for the difficulty in reaching the images, that is a bit trickier. I
figure I can ditch the “Introduction” Page for the sake of removing a level.
Also, it might help if I put the word (Models) under the link “File Access”
on the “MainPage” and I suppose thumbs will help as well.

As for the future of BLAST, I have several more creations to add, as well as
others still to be photographed, so stay tuned.

Thanks again for all your kind comment and suggestions.

Jay.

Hi Jay!

Checked out your site and it was excellent! I especially liked the trainer
Mech you built... way cool!

BTW, can I suggest two things?

1 - add a what's new page, so we can get to the new stuff
quickly..personally I can't wait for something new at BLAST =)

2 - the font size you use looks quite big even on my resolution of 1280x960,
would someone with a smaller monitor and lower resolution see VERY BIG fonts?

Just my two bricks,
Eddy

Thanks Eddy, I still have some changes to make to the site, but overall the
reception has been very good. The trainer is interesting, it came about
because at the time I was running low on black Lego so I created the
“Trainer” concept so I could use some of my neglected yellow bricks. Of the
entire model, I like the hand the best, its a little big for that particular
model, but it has become my standard articulated hand for all my other mecha.

I was planning on that, this was the debut so there has not been any updates
yet, but there will be! I have lots more models to post!

To tell you the truth, I have not gotten the font size issue worked out to
my satisfaction. Right now, the font on the site is determined by the users
browser. You can change the size of the font in your browser an it will
affect all the text on the site. You may want to check the font size on the
browser you are using, it may be set higher than normal. But to be honest I
am not an expert and I don’t know which end the problem may be on. So far, I
have not gotten any other comments about font size so I am hoping it is not
going to be an issue.

I got my fingers crossed!
Jay
