Will, the decal is out of the black cat truck cab. I have considered the
bismark!!! If only I had enough Lego I deffy would. There is a torpedo boat
hull constructed to acompany the U-boat, however, I have broken off that to
start a Russian T-34 tank:)

I am guessing that the gold shells are those crome tubes, painted. They
look very cool

Jeremy, the shells are 2, 1x2 cylinders stacked and wrapped with gold vinyl,
so you can unwrap it when unwanted. The same as the shells in the tiger tank.

That U-boat is one of the best LEGO models I have ever seen. The amount of
detail and accuracy is extraordinay! And the fact that it has crew bunks,
torpedo room, galley, engine room, conning tower, deck gun, propellers, rudders
and even a periscope... it's too cool to believe.
Mladen Pejic, who wishes he could build submarines and tanks like Carl but,
like a coward, builds sci-fi spaceships and hovertanks from his imagination so
no one can point out the inaccuracies...

Spectacular! Just SPECTACULAR! Wow! You know, after Seaborn Brick I'm planning
to do a sub of my own, but your sub is exquisite! The fine details are great!
Can't wait to see what's next! Just one little thing I must tell you though;

Oh, and I forgot to mention: My ships won't be sitting in Scapa Flow with that
thing about...nosirreebob, time to put up the torpedo nets.
BTW, I absolutely love the torpedoes--I also constructed a "torpedo" along
similar lines, but yours look so darn *nice*. Truly a testament to the
builder's ingenuity, and a challenge to the other boatheads!

What amazes me the most about your models is the way you incorporate
the minifigs in them and still have the models look nicely scaled.
With the lumpy nature of the minifigs, I think that's a big
achievement.
Of course, there are lots of other things that could have been said
about the extraordinary great models you've presented, but I wouldn't
want to repeat what others have said too much! ;-)

Britains? No, those are pewter or lead figurines, not LEGO. ;)
By the way, if an enemy sees a periscope raised out of the water, they're
actually *lucky*. It's when they *don't* see the periscope that the problems
begin.
