Re-attaching stickers to windows

Does anybody have any advice on re-attaching stickers to windows like those
found in the Western sets.  A have quite a few windows and doors from such
sets but it seems the previous owner must have a blind gorilla as all the
stickers are skewed or completely off the mark.  This is causing them to
peel off and the said peeled sections have attrached fluff and who knows
what else.

What I want to do is remove the stickers, clean off the fluff 'n'dirt, and
then re-attach them to the doors and windows.  I don't want a glue that will
make the glass look murky when it dries, so it must be transparent.  Would a
regular can of spray-on fixative from an art store be good enough?
