  Re: The Spamcake Diner

(...) Simply awesome is what I think! And I don't mean just the Diner, which, having seen it in person, is wonderful in its own right. Your Spamcake Diner page is an instant classic, Tom. (...) I can't say much cuz I'm packing for vacation now. But I will say that two 1x2 plate hinge pairs with fingers, two 5 long technic halfbeams and those funky 1x2 x 1x4 brackets largely make up the structure of the pinball machine; the (...)   Re: Ankles

You can get all technic parts you gonna need in order to build the ankles from current sets - if you just purchase supplementary packs you even won't have to spend much money. LEGO Technic Set 8226 "Off Roader" is a good source too. (24 years ago, 11-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) I attached the wheels to the motor, and built most of the rear engine compartment, including exterior body and fiber-optic engine. The suspension is quite stiff.   Ankles

I built Primus BuS' Marauder. I'm finished with it down to the ankles. However, the supplied design does not hold the mech's weight - it falls over backwards when I try and stand it up. So, is there any way to do an extremely strong ankle for such a (...) (24 years ago, 10-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)
