Release 0.7 is now online.
Version 0.7 is a halfway done hack of the version that was supposed to
include the Edit function, so the Edit link is there but doesn't do much.
The reason I released it is that I added the "set icon" feature that
let's you set your user icon (currently a bland minifig).
Tips:
- If the icon is 128 x n or n x 128 where n <= 128
the uploaded icon will be used as-is. If it doesn't
met that test an automatically generated thumbnail of
the uploaded image will be used instead. This is so
you can use gif's with transparent backgrounds.
- do not steal other people's images to use for your icon
without their permission.
- Suzanne has offered to create an "image export" feature
for her minifig generator that would create an image
(with tiny watermark) that you could use as your BrickShelf user icon.
I don't know when that will be available but it's a
verry nice gesture. Thanks!
Other notes:
The Gallery page has over 100 members listed, so I switched to
alpabetical order (last name) and broke it up into 24 members per
page. Later versions will probably have search/a-z/ and other
cool sorting/filter options.
