Hi All, I want to extend an invitation to everyone interested in helping/hanging out at the ILTCO @ NMRA '07 National Train Show this summer! It is at the... Cobo Conference/Exhibition Center July 27 - 29, 2007 Detroit, MI. For General Show Information visit: www.nationaltrainshow.com I am totally jazzed about this year's exhibit (the thrid annual!) and I can't wait! This is one of the big times for me in the year in my hobby life and can't wait to see everyone again! There is a hotel room block (~$50.00 per night), event tee shirts, and engraved event bricks too. More info on all that shortly. Mark your calandars... See you there! SteveB PS This is NOT a convention; it's a 3 day long train show... long hours, tired feet, beers and sleep each night, and a pizza party.

(...) My son and I are looking forward to the trip and the event. I know someone posted a message on the WAMALTC group asking about attendance at THE SHOW. Well since I only live 12 mile from Detroit's Cobo Center, I too will be there. For anyone worried about Detroit, you needn't be. After sponsoring the SuperBowl and All Star Game in the last 2 years the city has really been on a comeback. Over $4 (...) (17 years ago, 25-May-07, to lugnet.events)
