Well we have been really busy lately. 4 Shows in November and December with yet
1 more at the end of the month. We have 3 report finished up so I thought I
would announce them all together. The last report will be forthcoming.
19th Annual Festival Of Trees - Dearborn, MI
MichLUG was happy to decorate a tree and display with the Festival this year. It
was a very rewarding experience and we are already brainstorming for next year.
We had a 10x10 towntrain layout with a corner devoted to a medieval village.

1st Annual Midwest Lego Train Show - Wheaton, IL
NILTC organized this multi club show. MichLUG was
pleased to bring both a Town/Train layout and a Medieval village and castle. It
was a great show with very friendly crowds and lots of fun to hang out with
NILTC and Michiana-LUG.

Trains! Weekend at the COSI Museum - Toledo, OH
MichLUG was invited to display at the COSI Museum as part of their Trains!
Weekend. We readily accepted as the museum seemed like an interesting place to
display and also we would get the chance to talk to the COLTC crowd all weekend.
We setup a 15x20 City with monorail, an EL and 2 train loops.

Hey all,
Well its been 2 days now and this thread is still at the top of the list for
announcements but something puzzles me. Why would you highlight something and
not reply? Anyway it just seems weird to me.
Ok well now that is done
I just wanted to say thank you to Jason and everyone else who made the Cantigny
show possible it was a total blast and I look forward to next year. Your train
layout was better than I expected being such short notice and it was a pleasure
taking the 60+ photos of it. Hey I got to get my ideas somewhere Anyhoo I just
thought I would chime in hear.
OnDrew
P.s. I also very much enjoyed the castle layout. Its nice to see other themes
make it to shows to receive there much deserved credit.

Ondrew it was really a treat to do this show. I know David has mentioned that
he enjoyed the show and we both will try to rally more club members for next
year. As for being a nice layout, Thanks! I know I will borrow some ideas from
the NILTC layout, so please borrow from us too.

Cool. I was pleased to get the opportunity to display my houses (and the
houses/shops of the other club members).
