Here is the question:
What would be your LEGO Dream Set?

Great question!
So I guess if were offering up our dream set ideas were allowed to dream in
any theme and/or scale? I hope so. And in that case, heres my dream:
Id love to see a detailed Mack fire engine (circa mid-1970s) done in about a
1:32 scale. The reason I picked this particular appartus is that to me it looks
like a fire engine. Of course there are hundreds of variations on what a fire
engine looks like, but to me this one captures many of the features common to a
variety of pumpers.
Here is a picture of the type of vehicle Im thinking of:

Along with the obvious use of red, black and grey/silver you could also create a
faux hosebed using tan elements:

Obviously at 1:32 scale this is not minifig scale, not is it Technic figure
scale. Is it any scale that relates to the LEGO system? No, probably not, but
then were dreaming, right? :)
Best regards,
Allan B.

My apologies for replying to my own post. I neglected to include the price Id
be willing to pay for such a set. I guess if I had to put a figure on it, Id
love to see such a model for under $40 (U.S.). Figuring roughly 10 cents per
part, the set might be around 400 pieces or so.
Again... just dreaming. :)
