| The .adventurers “prizeless” Poster Competition To boost the growing popularity of .adventurers I invite all interested parties to design a poster to celebrate the LEGO Adventurers theme. Rules The poster must be your of own original design and incorporate a picture of or actual LEGO model that can be of an original LEGO design or a MOC of your own, or somebody else’s MOC so long as you acknowledge the builder. Written acknowledgement/credits should be incorporated somewhere on the poster. LDRAW is acceptable. Poster Size The poster must be a maximum of 1024-768 pixels, a typical computer desktop size, and under 500 kb. Poster Format Your poster should be in .jpeg format when it is uploaded. However, you are not restricted to using computer programs, so long as you can “digitise” your entry, scanned in to your computer or photographed with a digital camera, so that it can be uploaded to your web gallery. Remember the LEGO model used in your poster must be recognizable. It could be a mosaic for example... Submission Use an existing web gallery such as Brickshelf to upload your poster and post a message with a link to your poster on lugnet.adventurers newsgroup. All submissions will be displayed as thumbnails here on this page with a link to the full size poster. Closing Date for submissions: April 30th 2005 Prizes and Judging There are no prizes, this is purely for fun! If anyone has experience or ideas about judging competitions on LUGNET please let me know. This is an informal competition so have fun with it.
