I've been kicking an idea around for a while, and I wanted to put it out
to the
community:  I'd like to start an organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual,
and
transgendered (LGBT) AFOLs.

Great idea!  And while we're at it, I'd like to suggest the following groups
be made to further separate people away from the reason why we come to
lugnet in the first place:

lugnet.groups.mensa - for smart people who want to be separated from
"normal" or "average" intelligence.
lugnet.groups.religious.(insert your religion here) - for those spiritual
types.
lugnet.groups.phobia - for people who are afraid of *whatever*
lugnet.groups.MADD - mother's against drunk driving
lugnet.groups.AARP - for retired people
lugnet.groups.NAACP - can't leave out our ethnic brotheren
lugnet.groups.hypocrites - ya, this post probably goes here...

See my point?  Why do we need further separation when we all come to lugnet
for a common goal - TO TALK ABOUT LEGO

Rob, I know that you are trying to point out that it would be absurd to have a bunch of groups like that, however I do believe that any group that chooses to self identify and is genuinely interested in community building should be allowed to (...)
