Another suggestion, (now that I've just posted a couple of messages I
remember wanting this a few times in the past):
How about a way to keep track of your own posts - a special 'member page',
for instance, that lets you see what messages you've posted, in reverse
chronological order, with some indication as to how many replies there have
been to each message a) in total; b) in the last few days; and perhaps
c) since the last time you checked. Perhaps also break down by direct
replies, and the number of replies in the entire subthread. Obviously you
should be able to just click on each message subject to go there directly
and see the replies.

| (...) I think this would be very useful. Consider, for example, an NNTP Lugnet-reader who posts or sets follow-ups to a group he does not read. Currently, there is no good way to see if such a message has received replies (and hence might need (...) (23 years ago, 3-Apr-02, to lugnet.admin.suggestions)
