You've expressed that opinion several times now and I don't see it as having
been justified yet. I understand you have dark forebodings, etc. but I'm not
sure I agree. This mechanism will keep out spoofers. It is not designed to
stop all trolls, in the sense that discussions do veer off track, and in the
sense that regular contributors do sometimes post things that others might
take as ill advised or even outright trolling.
But it WILL keep out spoofers. That is what it is designed to do and I think
you sell Todd short if you repeat that you think it won't, without being
clear what you mean.
