I only use my at-home machine and I'm always logged in. (I have no idea what my
password is) So, do I really need some other confirmation code to simply add a
group to my rcv-by-email list? Wait! don't answer that. I'll assume it's a
"yes." (though I have no idea what that code is either) sorry, but I feel like
this is a pain in the butt -- and I live here! Well, it's at least taking a bit
of the fun out of things. And how-come when it says my conf code is "on its
way," an hour later it's still not here?

If you want to receive groups by mail, here's the page to configure your settings (digest, regular, etc.) for all the groups: (URL) the groups have news-by-mail capabilities using the email addresses of [newsgroup]@lugnet.com for example (...) (25 years ago, 7-Sep-99, to lugnet.admin.general) !
